PASTOR’S LETTER (09/10)

DECEMBER 1ST, 2009

What an amazing year and decade it has been! There has never been a decade in the history of the church and the world where we have seen God move so powerfully upon so many people and nations than this decade! Despite the fact that these have been some of the darkest years the world has ever seen, they have also been some of the most glorious years the Church has ever seen! We have seen and heard of more salvations, healings, miracles and signs and wonders than ever before! More people have given their lives to Jesus Christ and have gone to a deeper level of relationship and intimacy with the Lord than at any other time in human history! God is moving in and through the negative climate caused by Satan, demons and evil men and women to show Himself strong as the loving, forgiving, gracious, faithful and powerful God He is. As a result, millions have given themselves to Him and have been saved!

The word of God declares,

"Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. "Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side (Isa 60:1-4, NKJV).

This prophetic message given by God through the prophet Isaiah, approximately one thousand five hundred years before Jesus Christ and the Church, tells us about a time when the darkness in the world will grow darker but as it does, the glory of the Lord will grow stronger and brighter within and over His people - the Church! This is exactly what is happening! As the darkness in the world grows darker, the glory of the Lord continues to grow stronger and brighter within and over the Church! Millions are seeing it and are being saved!

Over two years ago, the Lord showed me this through a vision which was used in a prophetic teaching titled 'Build Me an Ark'.

"Then I saw a vision of the earth from space. It looked peaceful, tranquil. Suddenly I saw a thick black mist cover the earth. It (the earth) looked like a big black ball. Then I saw lights that looked like beacons slowly appearing through the mist, one on one side of the planet, another on the other side of the planet until the face of the earth was covered with them. There were only a few of these beacons, possibly seven in all. Their light shined through the mist creating markers on the earth. The people were drawn to them and I saw millions flocking to their light. Then the vision ended. The black mist in this vision represents a flood of darkness that is coming upon the earth. This darkness is the manifestation of evil and the deterioration or decay of the world's moral substance (Mt 24:12).  It represents an increase of sin and lawlessness as well as increased natural disasters worldwide, economic trouble, instability and failure. The beacons of light represent the Church and specifically, certain Churches that will rise up to be a light in the darkness at this time." (Richard Pace - Build Me an Ark).

"As the darkness in the earth grows darker, the light in the Church will grow brighter and many will be attracted to it." (Richard Pace - Build Me an Ark).

As we move into 2010, the darkness in the world will continue to grow darker but the glory of the Lord in and through the Church will continue to grow stronger and brighter.

2010 will be a significant year for the body of Christ! It will be the year when the Lord will 'catapult' us to higher and deeper realms of intimacy in and with Him.

The number 10 is a significant number here! As we move from 2009 into 2010, the Lord will take us into a new season, a new realm unlike any we have gone to before! As we cross from the old decade into the new, we will cross over into this new realm! The two are parallel! As we cross over in the natural, we will also cross over in the Spirit and will literally feel the change in our spirit! The number 10 is significant for us now! It signifies the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new cycle! The reaching of or completion of the height and depth of one level or realm and the beginning of a new level or realm! Ten is one of the perfect numbers and signifies the perfection of Divine order. It signifies completeness of order, marking the entire round of anything. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are perfect; that the whole cycle is complete. October, which is the tenth month, will be a significant month for us where the Lord will propel us to a realm in the Spirit with Him that we have never been to before and will be an intensifying of the new realm we will be going into as we enter the New Year! The number ten also speaks of God's covenant with us (Exo 20:1-26, The Ten Commandments). The Lord will give us a greater revelation of His covenant with us in the person and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. As a result of this revelation, our relationship with God will deepen and intensify

This new realm will involve a deeper experience of His presence in intimacy, new manifestations of His presence in our lives, a deeper love for the Lord and awesome breakthrough - miraculous answers to prayer! The transition will become more evident to us as we draw closer to the end of December 2009 and the beginning of January 2010! The same can be said of us for the year 2010! We will see the same shift but in a greater, more intense way! we will literally begin to feel the manifest presence of God on our bodies at certain times and it will not only be in church services but also as we are walking on the street, through a shopping centre, sitting in a train, on a bus or in a car! When we are eating with friends in a restuarant or simply sitting on our couch at home thinking of the Lord! There will be some difficult times! But as we thank, praise and worship the Lord in these situations, His manifest love and presence will embrace us! We will literally feel His presence and we will be filled with His joy!

These will be the times when we will truly come to experience and know the love and tenderness of God towards us in a greater way! Do not fear! The Lord has and will work everything for our good no matter how difficult, helpless or hopeless the situation might seem (Rom 8:28). As we draw closer to the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010, we will feel and see this shift! It will climax on New Year's Eve 2009/2010 and will continue to intensify from that moment on! The moment the clock strikes midnight, the Lord will propel us into a greater realm of the Spirit with Him and we will begin to experience the manifestations of the Spirit in a greater and more intense way! 2010 will be an awesome year for us! One of, if not the best years we have had with the Lord so far!

My prayer is that 2010 and the years that follow will be the greatest years you have ever had with the Lord.
