GOODBYE 2010! HELLO 2011! (PASTOR’S LETTER 10/11)
DECEMBER 11TH, 2010
2010 has been a unique, powerful and volatile year. A year of purification, transformation and preparation for many. A year where the Lord has been taking His people (the Church) to higher levels of relationship and intimacy with Him. A year where He has been removing obstacles, barriers and opposition that prevents us from going forward with Him and a year where the earth saw natural disasters more volatile than we have ever seen before such as the Haitian and Chilean earthquakes.
This was confirmed in last year's newsletter when the Lord revealed,
2010 will be a significant year for the body of Christ! It will be the year when the Lord will 'catapult' us to higher and deeper realms of intimacy in and with Him.
The number ten is a significant number here! As we move from 2009 into 2010, the Lord will take us into a new season, a new realm unlike any we have gone to before! As we cross from the old decade into the new, we will cross over into this new realm! The two are parallel! As we cross over in the natural, we will also cross over in the Spirit and will literally feel the change in our spirit!
October, which is the tenth month, will be a significant month for us where the Lord will propel us to a realm in the Spirit with Him that we have never been to before and will be an intensifying of the new realm we will be going into as we enter the New Year! The number ten also speaks of God's covenant with us (Exo 20:1-26, The Ten Commandments). The Lord will give us a greater revelation of His covenant with us in the person and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. As a result of this revelation, our relationship with God will deepen and intensify
This new realm will involve a deeper experience of God's presence in intimacy, new manifestations of His presence in our lives, a deeper love for the Lord and awesome breakthrough - miraculous answers to prayer! The transition will become more evident as we draw closer to the end of December 2009 and the beginning of January 2010! The same can be said for the year, 2010 - this transition will become even more evident as we draw closer to the end of December 2010 and the beginning of January 2011! We will see the same shift but in a greater, more intense way! we will literally begin to feel the manifest presence of God on our bodies at certain times and it will not only be in church services but also as we are walking on the street, through a shopping centre, sitting in a train, on a bus or in a car! When we are eating with friends in a restaurant or simply sitting on our couch at home thinking of the Lord! There will be some difficult times! But as we thank, praise and worship the Lord in these situations, His manifest love and presence will embrace us! We will literally feel His presence and we will be filled with His joy! This is exactly what has occurred.
"And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Mt 24:4-14, NKJV)
In August this year, the Lord gave me a prophetic message which set the scene for the New Year and the years to follow.
The Lord said,
Between the 14th of August and the 14th of September 2010, a major shift will take place in the spirit realm. This will be a time of purification, transformation and cleansing - a time of preparation for what I am going to do in the coming months from the 14th of August and the following years. I will cause a shift to occur in your attitudes, thought processes, belief systems and behavioral patterns as well as in your lives, families, circumstances, the Church and the world. During this time I will remove obstacles, barriers, chains and everything in your lives that are not of Me, that are preventing you from going deeper with Me and receiving what I have for you. This time of preparation will continue for one month where I will establish new foundations upon which I will do new and greater things. This time of preparation will be different from others. Although there may be some pain involved, it will not be as painful as in the past. On the 14th of September, there will be an explosion in the spirit. You may hear it, you may not. You may feel it, you may not but there will be a change that will occur on that day which will continue to have a significant effect for the months to come. You may hear of a significant explosion that will occur in the natural somewhere in the world to coincide with the explosion that will occur in the spirit. There will be a greater release of My presence, power and grace as well as an increase of My anointing, greater miracles, signs, wonders, manifestations of My Spirit and fulfillment of prophetic promises at this time. These next thirty days are very significant for what I will do in the next twelve months.
This will coincide with signs that will occur in the heavens (the sky and space). You will hear of an aligning of two or three planets, the discovery of new planets and anomalies. You will hear of a comet that will pass over a country at this time and you may hear of a solar or lunar eclipse. There will be new, more severe natural disasters that will occur at this time, floods, fires and earthquakes (A shift in the earth's crust in certain places). My anointing, power and blessings have been accumulating and at the appointed time, I will release a flood of miracles, blessings, breakthroughs and many of the things I have promised you will come to pass now. Amen and amen.
Shortly after this prophecy was given, it was fulfilled. The following day my family heard of a comet that was going to pass over the island of Malta. On the week of Sunday the 22nd of August, a "super volcano" exploded from within a giant black hole in a galaxy about 50 million light years away from earth - an extremely rare occurrence. On the week of the 28th of August, the Pakistan flood disaster reached critical point. On September the 3rd, a powerful, 7.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Christchurch, New Zealand. On the night of Thursday, the 9th of September, there was a thunderous gas explosion and fire that ripped through a San Bruno neighborhood. On September 30th, an article confirmed that astronomers had discovered a habitable planet almost identical to earth. On October the 7th, Australian scientists discovered a type of galaxy thought to be long past in the universe, shaking up existing theories on the way stars are formed and on the 13th of October, an article stated that an asteroid, that nearly collided with the earth, passed over Asia and was spotted by a telescope from the Catalina sky Survey in the United States. All these are signs - which God indicated in the prophetic message - that He is truly speaking and that what He said is coming to pass.
As for 2011, the number 11, in the Word of God, is the number that represents confusion, trouble and turmoil. However, it also represents the prophetic and the miraculous. The Lord spoke to me and said that 2011 will be a year filled with spiritual activity that will manifest with an intensifying of activity in the natural. A year where we will see the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy especially for Israel - Israel will dominate headlines especially towards the end of the year. A year where we will see the fulfillment of many prophetic promises for us and for the nations. A year when we will see the intensifying of what was mentioned in last year's prophetic message especially concerning an increase of confusion, trouble and turmoil in the world and the intensifying of God's presence in our lives, being propelled to new realms in the Spirit, signs, wonders and miracles we have never experienced before, purification and transformation, answers to prayers and the fulfillment of God's promises to us.
As for Australia, the Lord has turned His attention to this land. The great revival that God has promised for many years will continue to intensify and will begin to break through in the natural to such a degree that the secular world will have no choice but to stand to attention and accept it. Many of these same people will be swept into it. This revival has already begun but it has slowly and steadily been growing and intensifying. In 2011/2012, this revival will be catapulted to new heights, intensity and power. We will see the church break fourth from the four walls of the building into the earth with the Gospel, signs wonders and miracles. We will see miracles of salvation, deliverance, healing, transformation and nature unlike any we have seen before and we will take the Gospel to the ends of Australia (the outback farm regions) and the world.
There is a desperate cry proceeding from the heart of God for repentance. The world, as well as the body of Christ, have become complacent, spiritually lazy and careless unlike any generation in history. Many are being tossed to and fro on the waves of false teaching and deception. Many are doing what they feel, when the feel and how they feel without considering the consequences. Many are going after whatever is in their hearts regardless of whether they are Godly or ungodly desires and pursuing ungodly desires without seeking God and taking the time to discern the difference. Many have become caught up in their own cares and the cares of this life to the point where they are neglecting God. Many have weakened in their commitment to God, His kingdom and the work of the ministry and are placing other, less important things above Him. As we move closer towards 2011, the Lord is giving us a loving warning because the enemy has greater attacks planned for us but God has greater things planned for us.
For the most part of this year, the Lord has been telling me that 2011 will be the year when we will see an increase of the gift of discernment and wisdom in the Church. He said, "My people (the Church) are slumbering (they have fallen into a spiritual slumber) and have become complacent because of it. False teachings (doctrines) have infected most Churches because of the lazy, complacent, careless "easy going" lifestyles and attitudes that have come from the world. But you are not of the world, you are of the WORD! My people are no longer following true teaching but are following whatever desire is in their heart regardless of whether it is a Godly or an ungodly desire. They do whatever they feel, whenever they feel, the way they feel and whatever takes their pleasure without considering the consequences, then they say in their hearts, 'We walk with the living God. He will work all our mistakes out for us and all will be well so we can do whatever we want, live however we want, sin and He will clean up our mess because He loves us.' And I do love you, says the Lord, which is why I give you this warning. My people no longer have the discernment and wisdom to tell the difference. It is time for the Church to wake up! That is why I will restore this anointing (gift) to the Church. An anointing (gift) that you desperately lack but that is so desperately needed. An anointing (gift) that you need now and that you will need for the deception, confusion and turmoil that is coming. Pray for this anointing to come.
Not long after the Lord gave me this message, a well known man of God had a prophet named Dr. Cerullo as a guest on his show and he said, "God wants to pour out the incredible gift of discernment upon believers today. We are living in the end times. We are moving into a season of both crisis and opportunity, unlike anything we have ever seen before!"
There is no reason to fear. We have the victory in Christ! Cling to, walk with and obey Him and all will be well.
Get ready! We will see greater things with the Lord in 2011!
